Josh Hill

Hi, I’m Josh Hill, the founder of Proclaim His Praise. My goal in the creation of this site was to help provide the local church with conservative, modern, and sacred Christian music that would encourage believers in their faith and daily walk with Christ.

A Little About Me…

I was born in Dublin, Ireland, where my family currently serves as missionaries. Our church, Gospel Baptist Church, is in the village of Lucan, also in Dublin. 

In 2026, I graduated with an Associates degree from Maranatha Baptist University, where I studied composing and arranging with Dr. David Ledgerwood and Daniel Birnschein, and voice with Christin Kieckhafer.

I have a passion for writing music. I write in three main styles: sacred, classical, and soundtrack (mainly for amateur productions or church promotions.)

Besides writing music, I love enjoying it with others. I teach private voice and violin lessons, and I enjoy directing choirs and instrumental ensembles. I also have a deep passion for preaching the Word of God whenever I get the opportunity, and I hope to serve God in full-time ministry in the future.

Singing is one of my absolute favorite things to do! It’s such a blessing to encourage myself and others in Christ by singing the truths of His Word. 

One of my favorite verses is Colossians 3:16:

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Caleb Chambers

Hello! I’m Caleb Chambers, a lyricist for Proclaim His Praise. My purpose in this role is to create new, quality hymn lyrics that help Christians to meditate on Who God is and what He has done for us.

A Little About Me…

I was raised in Rutledge, Georgia, where my dad serves as the pastor of Philadelphia Baptist Church. Currently, I am attending Ambassador Baptist College in North Carolina, with a major in Bible and Evangelism. Although I stay busy between taking classes and work, I always try to find time to write. Poetry and hymn lyrics are among my favorite modes of verbal expression, but I also enjoy writing articles, stories, and creative nonfiction. When I’m not writing, I enjoy running, playing basketball, singing, playing fingerstyle guitar, and spending time with friends and family. 

My favorite Bible verse is Romans 5:8. “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” 

I hope that the lyrics God has used me to write will help turn your thoughts toward Him!
